Identification of deserving student - A Unique Process:

Vidya Poshak has devised a unique process to identify the deserving students. The Staff and authorised volunteers of Vidya Poshak visit the dwelling units of the aspiring students to assess the financial need of the student. This process ensures that only deserving students are supported and the identification is not on the basis of mere documents. Each student supported communicates with the concerned donor on a regular basis and appraises the donor about their academic progress. This instills a sense of responsibility in students and transparency to the donors.

Reporting System :

Students contact and communication details along with detailed profiles will be sent to donors. Each beneficiary’s progress will be monitored and reported back to donors through out the support period.

For Renewal Cases: All those students who have received financial assistance in earlier year, will continue to get financial support, subject to good academic performance during their final annual examination.

Highlights for 2007-08 :

  • Nurture Merit test conducted in 11 centers of 9 districts.
